Jerk rub
This is a great Jerk, wet rub. The combination of the onion, scallions, peppers, and spices give this rub a fantastic flavor. You can adjust the heat by increasing or reducing the amount of peppers in the recipe. Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Yield: Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup scallion, diced
4 habanero peppers, finely chopped
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Store in an airtight container, refrigerated for up to one month.
